A: No, as a company, we are against animal testing.

Q: Are your products suitable for vegans?

A: Yes, we only use plant-based ingredients in our products.

Q: Can your soaps be used on the whole family?

A: Yes, due to the gentle ingredients used, although we always advise from 36 months up due to baby’s delicate skin.

Q: Do you list the full ingredients?

A: Yes. The full ingredients are listed on the product pages and on the product labels.

Q: Is your packaging recyclable?

A: Yes. All of it. Even our shipping boxes, which are also made from recycled materials. These are filled, if it’s required, with wood wool which is biodegradable and taped closed with kraft paper tape. Occasionally we may re use packaging that we have received with our deliveries.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Unfortunately, we can only ship within the UK at present.

Q: Where does the name Damn Fyne Soap come from?

A: We are based in Tarbert, Argyll Scotland on the Shores of Loch Fyne – we thought it was a good twist to include Fyne in our name. There's soap... and there's Damn Fyne Soap.

A: No. You can choose to check out as a guest at checkout.

Q: How long does a bar of your soap last for?

A: Unfortunately, this is a difficult one for us to answer but we will try to be as honest as we can. It depends how you use it i.e., in the shower (quick body wash or full-on soap bubble party), for hand washing only, with being as delicate as we can here – how large the surface area is, a hairier body can use more soap, soft, or hard water will be a factor. Also, very importantly – how the soap is stored (in a draining soap dish is best) and allowed to dry out in between uses.

Q: Do your products contain palm oil?

A: No. That was a little easier to answer than the previous question 😊

Q: you only use essential oils – the ingredient lists several items with this *. Then written below is *Naturally occurs in essential oils. What does this mean?

A: These are naturally occurring allergens. Most essential oils contain naturally occurring allergens such as limonene, linalool, citral. These ingredients can cause allergies and legally are required to be declared in the ingredients.

Q: Do your products comply with the cosmetic regulations?

A: Yes. As a company we are very proud that all our products fully comply with all the UK and EU governance and legislation that must be met to be able to sell. Our products are independently tested by a cosmetic chemist and are certified as safe to use. We hold a Cosmetic Product Safety Report for each individual product.

Q: How do I store Damn Fyne Soap products to maintain their quality?

A: To preserve the quality of our products, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. After use, allow the soap to dry thoroughly between uses to prolong its lifespan.

Q: Are Damn Fyne Soap products suitable for individuals with allergies or sensitivities?

A: While our products are formulated with gentle ingredients, we recommend reviewing the full list of ingredients before use, especially if you have known allergies or sensitivities. If you have any concerns, we advise performing a patch test before applying the product to larger areas of the skin.

Q: Do Damn Fyne Soap products contain artificial fragrances or colours?

A: No, we believe in the power of natural ingredients. Our products are free from artificial fragrances, colours, and harsh chemicals, ensuring a pure and gentle skincare experience.

Q: Why is there some white patches on my soap?

A: This is known as Soda Ash. Soda ash, or sodium carbonate, is a harmless powdery residue that can form on the surface of soap during the curing process when carbon dioxide reacts with the lye solution. It does not affect the quality of the soap.
